Design Criteria & Proprietary User Service Index (kdUSI) Rating System
Katz Drago is able to provide a detailed, project specific, elevator design criteria for review.  In addition, we provide a proprietarykdUSI rating system to assist with critical elevator and core-count situations when developers, architects and marketing departments are faced with determining an optimal coordination of tenant floors and building facilities (trading floors, restaurants, congress, health-clubs, meeting rooms, ballrooms, etc., etc.) for a fixed number of elevators.  kdUSI was developed specifically to relate service levels achieved directly to user satisfaction, including cases where some criteria values exceed design thresholds.

kdUSI provides a single numerical rating to integrate all service criteria parameter values obtained, for each system studied - revealing the best and most restrained elevator solutions available for any range of multiple groups and tenant/facility stack arrangements.

kdUSI is the result of our 30 years of system designs, studies and observations by Katz Drago. Based on the new and expanded information available from dynamic simulation modeling, and system performance information available from contemporary computerized elevator diagnostic systems, kdUSI represents the next generation in system determination methodology.
